From the beginning, artsprojects has been dedicated to the management of artists. Our principle has always been to represent a few, but outstanding, musicians; and today we are still devoted to this principle.

Kristel Josel is the owner of artsprojects: a specialized agency for artist management, consulting and project management in the areas of culture, tourism marketing, sports organization and corporate events.

Kristel Josel was the first secretary general for the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra. Claudio Abbado appointed her to establish the youth orchestra where she successfully developed it and helped to gain the Council of Europe as the patron. Since its foundation, she has been the Executive Director of the international chamber music festival “Musiktage Mondsee,” supported, as artistic directors, by the famous musicians András Schiff and Heinrich Schiff. Kristel Josel founded artsprojects in 1988 together with Music Manager Dr. Hans Landesmannwith whom she was active for many years in artist management and concert organization worldwide. Projects such as a Janáĉek cycle in several European capitals, a Schubert cycle in New York and London, and also the arrangement of music for the opening ceremony of the Salzburg Festival 1992 (where the Dalai Lama was the keynote speaker), were implemented by artsprojects. Since the year 2000, Kristel Josel has consistently expanded the product portfolio for artsprojects by adding the planning and organizing of corporate events and special projects in the sport and tourism industries. At the 50th Anniversary Gala for Para-Sport Austria (OeBSV), and at the introduction to the organic line “Zurück zumUrsprung” she was able to showcase her unique style for organizing and managing events. She also built the international department for the artist agency ‘Agenciacamera’ in Spain, and has organized exclusive events for the Salzburg tourism organization in and outside Austria. Today, artsprojects offers consulting expertise for corporations and institutions worldwide, with the main emphasis on consulting for the German MEKmedia, the leading service provider for Smart TV since 2007, for cultural, tourism and sports topics. Depending on the projects, artsprojects cooperates with an international network of qualified companies and individuals.
